Job caps, records and automation

Manatal Professional includes up to 15 jobs per account, counted per account and not per user, and up to 10,000 candidates. Manatal says a job is not a headcount: one job can carry unlimited headcounts. Its own advice is to pick Professional with fewer than 15 open positions.

Recruit CRM lists unlimited jobs on paid plans, with record caps per user for candidates, contacts and companies. Workflow automation, no-code rules that move records and connect apps, is sold in credits there, 500 credits a month for 1,000 tasks. On Manatal it starts on Enterprise.

Recruit CRM Pro also allows 1 hiring pipeline (the stages a candidate moves through for one job), 15 custom fields and 1 mailbox connection per user; Business raises these to 100, 100 and 2. Record caps are 10,000 candidates per user on Pro and 20,000 on Business, and a monthly Additional Records Limit add-on raises them by 10,000 each for candidates, contacts and companies.

Trials and what happens after

Manatal gives a 14-day free trial with no card. If you entered a valid payment method, Manatal charges you for the plan and number of users you selected when the trial ends.

Recruit CRM's trial runs 30 days or until a usage cap is reached, and its sign-up page says no credit card is required. You can extend it twice, to a maximum of 90 days, while you stay under the caps. A contract is signed in the product at the upgrade, and charges are nonrefundable.

Imports, API and single sign-on

Manatal imports candidates, jobs, contacts, clients and departments from CSV and JSON files. API access and single sign-on are exclusive to Enterprise Plus, $55 per user per month billed annually.

Recruit CRM's free CSV import tool is on every plan, and its open API and single sign-on start on Business, $135 on the same basis. Both vendors add taxes on top.

Manatal's import can only be done by an Admin, and its documentation starts the order with organizations. Recruit CRM's importer asks for XLSX files to be converted to XLS, takes up to 10,000 records per upload and makes the person who imports the file the owner of every record.

Which desk should pick Manatal

Pick Manatal for a solo recruiter or small desk with 15 or fewer open jobs and a tight seat budget. Pick Recruit CRM for a desk that runs more than 15 jobs at once or wants invoicing and timesheets in the same system. See Manatal alternatives and the best applicant tracking systems (ATS) for small recruitment agencies.

Manatal gives 14 days with no card, while Recruit CRM gives 30 days, cut short at 50 candidates or 4 open jobs. Recruit CRM pricing has every plan.
