Recruit CRM vs Zoho Recruit: staffing plans, free tier and job limits

Seat prices against Zoho's staffing edition

Every plan in Zoho Recruit's staffing agency edition lists a lower seat price than Recruit CRM Pro on the same billing basis, and Zoho starts with a Forever Free plan where Recruit CRM sells none. As read on October 27, 2026, Recruit CRM Pro is $95 per user per month billed annually, paid up front for the year, or $109 billed monthly. Zoho Recruit Standard is $25 billed annually or $30 billed monthly, per Zoho's price data.

Zoho Recruit figures are per user per month from Zoho's own price data for the staffing edition. Both tools are applicant tracking systems (ATS) sold per user, and both add taxes on top: Recruit CRM's terms leave taxes out of the charges, and Zoho charges local taxes in addition. Zoho says its yearly billing saves up to 16 percent.

Active jobs and resume parsing limits

Zoho caps active jobs by plan: 1 on Forever Free, 100 on Standard, 250 on Professional and 750 on Enterprise. Resume parsing follows the plan: none on Forever Free, 250 a day on Standard, 500 a day on Professional and unlimited on Enterprise. Two-way email sync (IMAP) starts on Professional.

Recruit CRM sets no job cap on paid plans, per its help center, and caps records instead. The pricing page lists unlimited records, but the help center sets record caps per user: 10,000 candidates, contacts and companies each on Pro, and 20,000 on Business.

Mailbox connections are 1 per user on Pro and 2 on Business, and the Pro card lists two-way email sync. Its resume parser takes up to 100 files at a time, a different measure from Zoho's daily count.

Free plan, trial and guarantee

Zoho's staffing page shows Forever Free with a Try for free button and states no trial length or guarantee. Zoho's corporate edition page states a 15-day trial and a guarantee, and it gives different active-job limits from the four-plan comparison page, which carries the staffing edition's four plans and the limits used here.

Recruit CRM is trial only, with no free plan. Its pricing page lists a 30-day free trial, which the help center ends at 30 days or at 50 candidates, 4 open jobs, 50 companies or 50 contacts, whichever comes first. The terms make all subscription charges nonrefundable, so there is no refund guarantee.

Which one fits a staffing desk

Pick Zoho Recruit to start at no cost. Forever Free allows 1 active job, and Standard allows 100 for $25 per user per month billed annually, per Zoho's price data. It suits a solo recruiter or a small desk that can live with active-job caps. Pick Recruit CRM for a contract desk that bills clients from timesheets. Invoicing is on every plan, and timesheets cost 100 credits per active contractor a month for the first 15 contractors.
